Settling In...The season begins

Hello all,

Thanks for visiting my site! It took me a while to find a blogger that was not somehow censored here in China. I am excited about my opportunity in China and that you will be experiencing, at least somewhat, my journey with me.

Settling in took a little while. Shanghai was somewhat colonized by the British, but certainly not the extent that Beijing and Hong Kong were. Thus, the culture is pretty authentic aside from the huge financial and business centers near Nan Jing Road and Pudong. Most people get around by bus, motorized scooter, or taxi. The weather here has been a mix of really pleasant days and rainy days- similar to late autumn on the Farm :)

As soon as I figure out how to navigate and work this site well, I will get more pictures and commentary up. If there is something that you want to see or any other requests, please pass them my way and I'll see what I can do!

Thanks again for visiting my blog!

Rob
